Current law allows a hospitalized individual to register to vote and to apply for
and obtain an absentee ballot by an agent. This bill allows an individual who is
quarantined or in isolation as the result of a state of emergency to register to vote and
to apply for and obtain an absentee ballot by an agent.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

(3m) Any elector who is quarantined or in isolation as the result of a state
5of emergency declared under s. 323.10 may register and apply for and obtain an
6official ballot by agent in the same manner as a hospitalized elector may register and
7apply for and obtain an official ballot by agent under sub. (3).
