SB379,1,2 1An Act to amend 20.435 (4) (bt) of the statutes; relating to: healthy eating
2incentive pilot program.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill extends the healthy eating incentive pilot program through the year
2021. The healthy eating incentive pilot program was originally enacted as part of
2017 Wisconsin Act 266. Under that Act, no funds could be expended for the program
after December 31, 2019, except for moneys already encumbered by that date. This
bill allows funds to be expended through December 31, 2021.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB379,1 3Section 1. 20.435 (4) (bt) of the statutes is amended to read:
SB379,2,24 20.435 (4) (bt) Healthy eating incentive pilot program. As a continuing
5appropriation, the amounts in the schedule to contract with an entity to administer
6the healthy eating incentive program under s. 49.79 (7r). No moneys may be

1expended under this paragraph after December 31, 2019 2021, except for moneys
2encumbered on or before that date.
