AJR89,1,42 Whereas, Mark Hogan, a native of Green Bay, received his bachelor's degree in
3finance from the University of Notre Dame and master's degree in business from
4Marquette University; and
AJR89,1,85 Whereas, Hogan went on to work for almost four decades at M&I Marshall &
6Ilsley Bank and BMO Harris Bank before retiring from M&I in 2010 as its executive
7vice president and chief credit officer and signing on in 2011 to serve as senior advisor
8to BMO Harris; and
AJR89,1,119 Whereas, Hogan moved into public service when former Governor Scott Walker
10appointed him to serve as secretary and chief executive officer of the Wisconsin
11Economic Development Corporation in 2015; and
AJR89,1,1512 Whereas, working collaboratively with partners in state and local government,
13Hogan helped create innovative incentives and negotiate contracts with numerous
14local, national, and international businesses to keep existing jobs and create new
15jobs in the state; and

1Whereas, Hogan took great pride in overseeing economic development
2initiatives that foster the revitalization and economic vitality of main streets of small
3and midsized towns across Wisconsin; and
AJR89,2,74 Whereas, Hogan has also served his state and community as a board member
5of numerous civic organizations, including the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, the
6Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin, and the Milwaukee County Historical Society;

AJR89,2,128 Whereas, Mark Hogan will continue to serve as a dedicated, insightful board
9member of the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority and the
10Archdiocese of Milwaukee Finance Council, along with other nonprofit and
11community organizations that he enjoys volunteering his time to; now, therefore, be
