This bill requires the Department of Health Services to establish state
health-based groundwater quality standards for perfluorooctanoic acid and
perfluorooctane sulfonate, commonly referred to as PFOA and PFOS, respectively.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

4254.25 Groundwater contaminants. The department shall, by the 90th day
5after the day of publication of this section .... [LRB inserts date], establish state
