AB657,1,2 1An Act to create 20.437 (1) (dm) and 48.483 of the statutes; relating to:
2scholarships for sibling connections and making an appropriation.

This bill requires the Department of Children and Families to provide
scholarships to adopted children and their biological siblings who do not reside in the
same household to attend programs together in order to build sibling connections.

an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

AB657,2,32 20.437 (1) (dm) Sibling connections scholarship. The amounts in the schedule
3for the scholarship program under s. 48.483.

AB657,2,8 548.483 Sibling connections scholarships. From the appropriation under
6s. 20.437 (1) (dm), the department shall award scholarships to adopted children and
7their biological siblings who do not reside in the same household to attend programs
8together in order to build sibling connections.
