AB505,1,2 1An Act to amend 348.10 (2) of the statutes; relating to: operating a vehicle

Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, a person may not operate a vehicle on a highway unless the
vehicle is loaded so as to prevent its contents from dropping, sifting, leaking, or
otherwise escaping. The bill expands this prohibition to include accumulated snow
and ice.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB505,1 3Section 1. 348.10 (2) of the statutes is amended to read:
AB505,1,64 348.10 (2) No person shall operate a vehicle on a highway unless such vehicle
5is so constructed and loaded as to prevent its contents, including accumulated snow
6and ice,
from dropping, sifting, leaking or otherwise escaping therefrom.
