Artificial intelligence tools and infrastructure support
This bill requires DOA to develop and maintain artificial intelligence tools and infrastructure for the benefit of state agencies, including the legislature and the courts.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
Section 1. 16.971 (2) (p) of the statutes is created to read:
16.971 (2) (p) Develop and maintain artificial intelligence tools and infrastructure for the benefit of state agencies.
Section 2. 20.505 (1) (fn) of the statutes is created to read:
20.505 (1) (fn) Artificial intelligence tools and infrastructure. The amounts in the schedule to support the development and maintenance of artificial intelligence tools and infrastructure for the benefit of state agencies under s. 16.971 (2) (p).
****Note: This Section involves a change in an appropriation that must be reflected in the revised schedule in s. 20.005, stats.
