Assistive technology services
Under current law, DHS awards grants for certain community programs. This bill allows DHS to distribute up to $250,000 in each fiscal year for grants to provide assistive technology services.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
Section 1. 46.48 (16) of the statutes is created to read:
46.48 (16) Assistive technology. The department may distribute not more than $250,000 in each fiscal year for grants to provide assistive technology services.
