SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO SENATE BILL 182

SB182-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB182-SA1,1,4 1. Page 2, line 3: delete the material beginning with “technical colleges” and ending with “prepare” on line 4 and substitute “each technical college that provides an emergency medical services program that trains and prepares”.

SB182-SA1,1,5 2. Page 2, line 7: delete lines 7 to 11 and substitute:

SB182-SA1,1,10 “(b) If there was a student enrollment waiting list for an emergency medical services program described under par. (a) at a technical college in the academic year preceding the board’s provision of a grant to the technical college under par. (a), the technical college, or district board of the technical college, shall prioritize use of the grant toward one of the following:

SB182-SA1,1,12 1. The technical college’s expansion of student enrollment access to the emergency medical services program.

SB182-SA1,2,5 2. The district board of the technical college entering into a contract for services under s. 38.14 (3) for the expansion of student enrollment access to the emergency medical services program. The board shall develop and make available to district boards for use or modification a standard contract template for a contract for services described under this subdivision.”.
