SB955-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB955-SA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 3: delete lines 3 to 7 and substitute:

SB955-SA1,1,4 “ Section 1m. 20.455 (2) (gr) of the statutes, as affected by 2023 Wisconsin Act .... (this act), is amended to read:

SB955-SA1,1,8 20.455 (2) (gr) Handgun purchaser record check; checks for licenses or certifications to carry concealed weapons. All moneys received as fee payments under ss. 175.35 (2i), 175.49 (5m), and 175.60 (7) (c) and (d), (13), and (15) (b) 4. a. and b. to provide services under ss. 165.28, 175.35, 175.49, and 175.60.”.

SB955-SA1,1,9 2. Page 2, line 13: delete “September 30," and substitute “October 1,".

SB955-SA1,1,10 3. Page 2, line 13: after that line insert:

SB955-SA1,1,12 “ Section 3m. Effective dates. This act takes effect on the day after publication, except as follows:

SB955-SA1,2,2 (1) Project position funding sunset. The treatment of s. 20.455 (2) (gr) (by Section 1m) takes effect on October 1, 2025.”.
