3“(2) The department shall solicit and review applications for the grant program

under this section and shall award a grant in an amount of no more than $5,000,000

to one organization in each fiscal biennium.

6(2m) An organization is eligible for the grant if it meets all of the following
7standards:

(a) It operates a financial assistance program for prospective adoptive families.

(b) It does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, sexual orientation, as
10defined in s. 111.32 (13m), gender, gender identity, national origin, disability, as
11defined in s. 106.50 (1m) (g), religion, ethnicity, marital status, family status, as
12defined in s. 106.50 (1m) (k), status as a victim of domestic abuse, sexual assault, or
13stalking, as defined in s. 106.50 (1m) (u), lawful source of income, age, or ancestry.

1(c) If the organization provides pregnancy counseling, it provides counseling
2on all options available to a pregnant person, including abortion.”.
