AB173-AA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB173-AA1,1,2 21. Page 1, line 2: delete “and making an appropriation".
AB173-AA1,1,4 32. Page 1, line 3: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with
4page 2, line 7.
AB173-AA1,1,6 53. Page 2, line 9: delete the material beginning with “From" and ending with
6“the" on line 10 and substitute “The”.
AB173-AA1,1,7 74. Page 3, line 8: after that line insert:
AB173-AA1,1,13 8(4) (a) No person shall have a cause of action against a firearms dealer, as
9defined in s. 175.35 (1) (ar), operating lawfully in the state for any act or omission
10arising from the provision of voluntary, temporary firearm storage and resulting in
11personal injury or death of any person, including the return of any firearms to the
12firearm owner by a firearms dealer at the termination of the voluntary, temporary
13firearm storage.

1(b) The immunity provided in par. (a) shall not apply to any action arising from
2the provision of voluntary, temporary firearm storage if the action is in violation of
318 USC 921 to 931 or s. 175.35 or 941.2905 and such violation was the proximate
4cause of the injury or death.”.
