SB938-SA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 3: after “list" insert “, sharing voter registration information,".

SB938-SA1,1,3 2. Page 2, line 19: after that line insert:

SB938-SA1,1,4 “ Section 2t. 343.14 (2) (L) of the statutes is created to read:

SB938-SA1,1,7 343.14 (2) (L) A question as to whether the applicant would like the department to share the information collected in the application with the clerk of the municipality in which the person resides for the purpose of voter registration.”.

SB938-SA1,1,9 “ Section 3c. 343.178 of the statutes is created to read:

SB938-SA1,2,5 343.178 Voter registration assistance. If a person requests sharing the person's information under s. 343.14 (2) (L), the department shall provide the person with the means to complete an electronic application for voter registration under s. 6.30 (5), including, to the extent feasible, the means to automatically incorporate information collected in the person's application for an operator's license or information card. Notwithstanding ss. 343.14 (2j) and 343.50 (8) (b), the department shall assist any person completing an electronic application for voter registration under this section in properly submitting the application to the clerk of the appropriate municipality.”.
