AB941-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB941-AA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 1: after “program" insert “and making an appropriation".

AB941-AA1,1,3 2. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:

AB941-AA1,1,4 “ Section 1g. 20.395 (4) (fa) of the statutes is created to read:

AB941-AA1,1,9 20.395 (4) (fa) Commercial driver recruitment program. From the general fund, a sum sufficient for the commercial driver scholarships under 2021 Wisconsin Act .... (this act), section 1 (1) (b), commercial driver employer training grants under 2021 Wisconsin Act .... (this act), section 1 (1) (c), and commercial driver recruitment grants under 2021 Wisconsin Act .... (this act), section 1 (1) (d).”.

AB941-AA1,1,11 3. Page 2, line 12: delete “amounts allocated under sub. (3) (a)" and substitute “appropriation under s. 20.395 (4) (fa)".

AB941-AA1,1,13 4. Page 3, line 12: delete “amounts allocated under sub. (3) (b)" and substitute “appropriation under s. 20.395 (4) (fa)".

AB941-AA1,2,2 5. Page 4, line 7: delete “amounts allocated under sub. (3) (c)" and substitute “appropriation under s. 20.395 (4) (fa)".

AB941-AA1,2,9 (1) Special education aid. In the schedule under s. 20.005 (3) for the appropriation to the department of public instruction under s. 20.255 (2) (b), the dollar amount for fiscal year 2022-23 is increased by $20,160,800 to increase funding for aids for special education under s. 115.88.

AB941-AA1,2,14 (2) University of Wisconsin System; general program operations. In the schedule under s. 20.005 (3) for the appropriation to the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System under s. 20.285 (1) (a), the dollar amount for fiscal year 2022-23 is increased by $5,040,200 to increase funding for the purpose for which the appropriation is made.”.
