AB777-AA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB777-AA1,1,6 21. Page 5, line 4: delete lines 4 to 7 and substitute “year. Grants shall be
3awarded to the 10 eligible cities political subdivisions submitting an application for
4a grant that have the highest rates of violent crime index offenses in the most recent
5full calendar year for which data is available under the uniform crime reporting
6system of the federal bureau of investigation.”.
AB777-AA1,1,8 72. Page 7, line 14: delete the material beginning with “, the rates" and ending
8with “investigation and," on line 16.
AB777-AA1,1,9 93. Page 8, line 2: after that line insert:
AB777-AA1,1,10 10 Section 10c. 165.986 (4) (bm) of the statutes is created to read:
AB777-AA1,2,211 165.986 (4) (bm) If a jurisdiction is the subject of more than one eligible
12application for a grant under sub. (1m), the department shall award the grant to the

1political subdivision with the law enforcement agency that predominantly responds
2to calls for service in the jurisdiction.”.
