AB589-AA1,1,2 1. Page 3, line 4: after that line insert:

AB589-AA1,1,3 “(dm) “Obscene” means that all of the following apply to content:

AB589-AA1,1,5 1. An average individual, applying contemporary community standards, would find that the content, taken as a whole, appeals to the prurient interest.

AB589-AA1,1,6 2. The content depicts or describes sexual conduct in a patently offensive way.

AB589-AA1,1,8 3. The content, taken as a whole, lacks serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value.”.

AB589-AA1,1,11 2. Page 4, line 5: after “paragraph." insert “Censoring, deplatforming, or shadow banning a journalistic enterprise on the basis of content that is obscene or pornographic in nature is not a violation of this paragraph.".
