AB339-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB339-AA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 3: before that line insert:

AB339-AA1,1,3 “ Section 1g. 84.103 (1t) (title) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB339-AA1,1,4 84.103 (1t) (title) Purple Heart Memorial Highway Highways.”.

AB339-AA1,1,5 2. Page 1, line 3: delete line 3 and substitute:

AB339-AA1,1,7 “ Section 1h. 84.103 (1t) of the statutes is renumbered 84.103 (1t) (a) and amended to read:”.

AB339-AA1,1,9 3. Page 1, line 4: delete “Purple Heart Memorial Highway Highways." and substitute “(a)".

AB339-AA1,1,10 4. Page 2, line 4: after that line insert:

AB339-AA1,2,3 “(b) Notwithstanding s. 86.19 (1), upon request by a municipality and receipt of sufficient contributions from interested parties to cover the costs of erecting and maintaining the signs, the department shall erect and maintain within the right-of-way of STH 21 within the boundaries of the municipality two signs, one sign facing each direction of traffic, marking the route of STH 21 within the municipality as a “Purple Heart Memorial Highway.””.
