AB170-AA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB170-AA1,1,2 21. Page 2, line 1: delete lines 1 to 12.
AB170-AA1,1,4 32. Page 3, line 6: delete lines 6 and 7 and substitute “with the first initial and
4last name of the individual.”.
AB170-AA1,1,8 53. Page 3, line 9: delete “question." and substitute “question, except that this
6subdivision does not apply to a name tag or badge worn by an individual observing
7a recount under s. 9.01 that includes a candidate's campaign logo or the name of the
8organization that the observer represents.".
AB170-AA1,1,9 94. Page 3, line 16: delete lines 16 to 18 and substitute:
AB170-AA1,1,10 10 Section 3d. 9.01 (3) of the statutes is amended to read:
AB170-AA1,2,211 9.01 (3) Representation and observation. The petitioner, all opposing
12candidates and interested persons shall be entitled to be present in person and by
13counsel to observe the proceedings. The board of canvassers shall establish

1observation areas that are no more than 3 feet from a table where ballots and other
2election-related materials are being examined and processed.
AB170-AA1,3f 3Section 3f. 12.13 (2) (b) 9. of the statutes is created to read:
AB170-AA1,2,54 12.13 (2) (b) 9. Intentionally obstructs an election observer's access to observe
5election procedures.
AB170-AA1,3g 6Section 3g. 12.60 (1) (b) of the statutes is amended to read:
AB170-AA1,2,97 12.60 (1) (b) Whoever violates s. 12.03, 12.05, 12.07, 12.08 or 12.13 (2) (b) 8. or

, (3) (b), (c), (d), (g), (i), (n) to (x), (ze), (zm) or (zn) may be fined not more than $1,000,
9or imprisoned not more than 6 months or both.”.
