ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 1002

AB1002-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB1002-AA1,1,4 1. Page 4, line 5: after “commission," insert “ except that any other such application shall clearly indicate that a voter who is indefinitely confined may apply for indefinitely confined status by completing a separate form,".

AB1002-AA1,1,6 2. Page 4, line 23: after “confined" insert “ and cannot travel independently without significant burden".

AB1002-AA1,1,7 3. Page 5, line 7: delete “by electronic means".

AB1002-AA1,1,10 4. Page 5, line 18: delete lines 18 to 21 and substitute “disability that will last longer than one year; an affirmation of a U.S. citizen who is 18 years of age or older that affirms the elector's identity; the last 4 digits of the elector's social”.
