ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO SENATE BILL 468

SB468-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB468-AA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 1: delete “progression" and substitute “progression, eliminating the Judicial Council,".

SB468-AA1,1,4 2. Page 1, line 3: before that line insert:

SB468-AA1,1,5 “ Section 1c. 16.74 (2) (b) of the statutes is amended to read:

SB468-AA1,1,13 16.74 (2) (b) Contracts for purchases by the senate or assembly shall be signed by an individual designated by the organization committee of the house making the purchase. Contracts for other legislative branch purchases shall be signed by an individual designated by the joint committee on legislative organization. Contracts for purchases by the judicial commission or judicial council shall be signed by an individual designated by the commission or council, respectively. Contracts for other judicial branch purchases shall be signed by an individual designated by the director of state courts.

SB468-AA1,1h Section 1h. 20.923 (6) (d) of the statutes is repealed.

SB468-AA1,1k Section 1k. 230.08 (2) (wh) of the statutes is repealed.

SB468-AA1,1p Section 1p. 751.12 (5) of the statutes is repealed.

SB468-AA1,1q Section 1q. 751.20 of the statutes is repealed.

SB468-AA1,1r Section 1r. 758.13 of the statutes is repealed.

SB468-AA1,1t Section 1t. Nonstatutory provisions.

SB468-AA1,2,8 (1) Judicial council.

SB468-AA1,2,11 (a) Assets and liabilities. On the effective date of this paragraph, the assets and liabilities of the judicial council become the assets and liabilities of the supreme court.

SB468-AA1,2,14 (b) Tangible personal property. On the effective date of this paragraph, all tangible personal property, including records, of the judicial council becomes the personal property of the supreme court.”.
