SB152-SA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB152-SA1,1,2 21. Page 8, line 22: before “or" insert “electric bicycle,".

SB152-SA1,1,3 32. Page 28, line 1: delete lines 1 to 7 and substitute:

SB152-SA1,1,8 4“349.237 Authority to regulate electric scooters. The governing body of
5any municipality or county may, by ordinance, regulate the rental and operation of
6electric scooters in a manner consistent with the regulation of bicycles in the
7municipality or county, except that the governing body of any municipality or county
8may do any of following:

SB152-SA1,1,10 9(1) Restrict or prohibit the operation of electric scooters on any roadway under
10its jurisdiction having a speed limit of more than 25 miles per hour.

SB152-SA1,1,12 11(2) Restrict or prohibit the operation of electric scooters on any sidewalk or
12bicycle way under its jurisdiction.

1(3) Establish requirements for and limitations on the parking of electric
2scooters on roadways, sidewalks, bicycle lanes, or bicycle ways under its jurisdiction.

SB152-SA1,2,4 3(4) Restrict or prohibit the short-term commercial rental of electric scooters
4to the general public.”.
