AB304-AA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB304-AA1,1,2 21. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:
AB304-AA1,1,3 3 Section 1g. 49.46 (2) (bg) of the statutes is created to read:
AB304-AA1,1,114 49.46 (2) (bg) The department shall ensure that any contraceptives, including
5contraceptive drugs or drug products, or contraceptive services that are covered
6under this subsection and for which reimbursement is made to any provider are
7covered and reimbursed when prescribed, if a prescription is required under federal
8law, or provided by a pharmacist acting under his or her scope of practice, including
9under s. 450.095 (2m). The department shall certify pharmacists as providers of
10Medical Assistance services for the purposes of covering and reimbursing under this
11paragraph services that are provided under s. 450.095 (2m).”.
AB304-AA1,1,12 122. Page 4, line 15: after that line insert:
AB304-AA1,1,13 13 Section 5m. 632.895 (17) (b) 1. and 2. of the statutes are amended to read:
AB304-AA1,2,3
1632.895 (17) (b) 1. Contraceptives. If a prescription is required under federal
2law to obtain a contraceptive, this subdivision applies if the contraceptive is

3prescribed by a health care provider, as defined in s. 146.81 (1).
AB304-AA1,2,84 2. Outpatient consultations, examinations, procedures, and medical services
5that are necessary to prescribe, administer, maintain, or remove a contraceptive, if
6covered for any other drug benefits under the policy or plan, and that are provided
7by any health care provider, as defined in s. 146.81 (1), acting within the scope of
8practice of that health care provider
