AB1-ASA1-AA3,1,11 (1) Affordable health care and coverage. If the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, P.L. 111-148, as amended, under 42 USC 300gg to 300gg-4 is no longer enforceable or no longer preempts state law relating to individual or group health insurance policies, no later than the first day of the 13th month beginning after the date the act is no longer enforceable or no longer preempts state law, the department of health services shall submit to the governor a comprehensive strategy to ensure that residents of this state have access to affordable health coverage and health care.”.
