2021 WISCONSIN ACT 86
An Act to create 196.49 (5g) (ar) 1s. of the statutes; relating to: meter installation, repair, or replacement projects by water utilities and modifying administrative rules related to meter installation, repair, or replacement projects.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
86,1 Section 1. 196.49 (5g) (ar) 1s. of the statutes is created to read:
196.49 (5g) (ar) 1s. The project is to be completed by a water public utility, a combined water and sewer public utility, or an entity contracted by a water public utility or a combined water and sewer public utility and is for the purpose of installing, repairing, or replacing meters to measure service to customers.
86,2 Section 2. PSC 184.03 (4) (c) of the administrative code is amended to read:
PSC 184.03 (4) (c) Routine meter Meter installation, repair, or replacement.
86,3 Section 3. Effective dates. This act takes effect on the day after publication, except as follows:
(1) Administrative rules. The treatment of administrative rules takes effect as provided in s. 227.265.
