2021 WISCONSIN ACT 225
An Act relating to: modifying and creating administrative rules to require reimbursement for group physical therapy under the Medical Assistance program.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
225,1 Section 1. DHS 107.16 (3) (f) of the administrative code is created to read:
DHS 107.16 (3) (f) Group physical therapy. Group physical therapy shall be a covered service. For purposes of this paragraph, “group physical therapy” means a physical therapy session at which there are more than one but not more than 10 recipients receiving services together from one or 2 providers. No more than 2 providers may be reimbursed for the same session. Physical therapy aides may not be reimbursed for group physical therapy.
225,2 Section 2. DHS 107.16 (4) (d) of the administrative code is repealed.
225,3 Section 3. Effective date.
(1) Notwithstanding s. 227.265, this act takes effect on the day after publication.
