2021 WISCONSIN ACT 125
An Act relating to: modifying an administrative rule to eliminate prior authorization for enteral products administered through a tube.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
125,1 Section 1 . DHS 107.10 (2) (c) of the administrative code is amended to read:
DHS 107.10 (2) (c) Medically necessary, specially formulated nutritional supplements and replacement products, including enteral and parenteral products used for the treatment of severe health conditions such as pathologies of the gastrointestinal tract or metabolic disorders, as described in the MA provider handbooks and bulletins, but not including enteral nutrition products administered through a tube.
125,2 Section 2. Effective date.
(1) Notwithstanding s. 227.265, this act takes effect on the day after publication.
