Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On August 29, 2019, the Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Counseling, and Social Work Examining Board submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rules affect Chapter MPSW 16, relating to education equivalent to a graduate degree in marriage and family therapy from a program accredited by COAMFTE.
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 003-19, was approved by the Governor on January 3, 2019, published in Register No. 757A3, on January 14, 2019, and approved by the Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Counseling, and Social Work Examining Board on July 23, 2019. A public hearing is required and will be held on October 15, 2019 at 11:00 AM.
