Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On July 9, 2019, the Department of Natural Resources submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rules affect Chapter NR 102, relating to processes for waterbody assessments and impaired waters listing, biological criteria for water quality standards, and biological confirmation of phosphorus impairments. Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 001-14, was approved by the Governor on December 19, 2013, published in Register No. 697A on January 14, 2014, and approved by the Natural Resources Board on February 26, 2014. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on September 12.
