Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On July 9, 2019, the Department of Natural Resources submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rules affect Chapters NR 102 and 119, relating to the development of site-specific numeric phosphorus water quality criteria for surface waters.
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 046-12, was approved by the Governor on June 29, 2012, published in Register No. 679A on July 14, 2012, and approved by the Natural Resources Board on September 26, 2012. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on September 12, 2019.
