NOTICE OF CORRECTION
Chapter PI 36, Wisconsin Administrative Code
On Monday, December 10th, 2018, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse, Clearinghouse Rule 18-096, amending PI 36 related to alternative application procedures.
Additionally, an identical emergency rule, Emergency Rule 1832, was published in the Wisconsin State Journal on December 14, 2018, and is currently in effect.
The section header in the bodies for both the proposed permanent and emergency rules incorrectly state that section PI 34.07 is being amended to reflect the proposed changes. Section PI 36.04 (7) is the correct provision that is being treated by this change, as correctly indicated in each rules’ introductory statement.
The Department will issue a revised permanent rule, indicating the correct provision treated by this rule change, when it submits a final proposed rule to the Legislature for review.
