NOTICE OF SUBMITTAL OF RULES TO LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL RULES CLEARINGHOUSE
EDUCATOR LICENSES
PI 34, WISCONSIN ADMINISTRATIVE CODE
On July 30, 2018, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse.
The scope statement for this rule, SS 050-18, was published in Register No. 749A3, on May 21, 2018, and approved by State Superintendent Tony Evers on June 2, 2018. Pursuant to Coyne v. Walker, the Department of Public Instruction is not required to obtain the Governor’s approval for the statement of scope for this rule. Coyne v. Walker, 368 Wis.2d 444.
A related emergency rule affecting the same Administrative Code provisions contained in this proposed rule and relating to the same purpose as this proposed rule has also been submitted for publication in the Wisconsin State Journal.
The proposed rule amends ch. PI 34, relating to changes to lifetime licenses as a result of 2017 Wisconsin Act 206.
Public hearings will be scheduled as required under s. 227.16 (1), Stats.
