Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On January 23, 2018, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rules affect Chapter NR 10, relating to elk management. Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 092-17, was approved by the Governor on September 7, 2017, published in Register No. 741A3 on September 18, 2017, and approved by the Natural Resources Board on October 25, 2017. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on a date to be determined. Hearings will be held in Park Falls, Black River Falls and Madison.
