Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On December 13, 2017, the Department of Natural Resources submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rule, WT-04-17, affects Chapter NR 152, relating to model ordinances for construction site erosion and sediment control and post-construction storm water management. Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 026-17 was approved by the Governor on December 28, 2016, published in Register No. 735A2, on March 13, 2017, and approved by Natural Resources Board for the agency as required by s. 227.135 (2), Stats) on May 24, 2017. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on January 16, 2018.
The proposed rule brings an existing rule into conformity with a statute that has been changed or enacted or with a controlling judicial decision.
