The Wisconsin Veterinary Examining Board announces that it has referred the following proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse, pursuant to s. 227.15, Stats. SUBJECT: Veterinary Professional Assistance Program Rule

The Board will hold a public hearing on this rule on January 9, 2018, in Eau Claire, January 10, 2018, in Green Bay, January 11, 2018, in Waukesha, and January 12, 2018, in Madison. The scope statement for this rule, SS 116-17, was approved by the Governor on October 13, 2017, published in Register No. 742A4 on October 23, 2017, and approved by the Veterinary Examining Board as required by s. 227.135(2), Stats., on November 30, 2017.
