2017 Operative Date of Principle-Based Valuation Manual

This notice is submitted pursuant to the requirements of 2015 Act 90, section 87(1). The Office of the Commissioner of Insurance submits this Public Notice to the Legislative Reference Bureau because on June 10, 2016 the members of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners unanimously determined that the required conditions for adoption of the “Valuation Manual”, as set forth in s. 623.06 (9) (b), Wis. Stat., have been met.

Therefore the Operative Date of the Valuation Manual under s. 623.06(1)(f), Wis. Stat. shall be January 1, 2017.
