The Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (“Department”) announces that is has referred the following proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse, pursuant to s. 227.15, Stats. SUBJECT: Mountain Pine Beetle Exterior Quarantine

The Department will hold public hearings on this rule on June 8, 2016, in Madison and in Wausau.
The scope statement for this rule, SS 019-15, was approved by the Governor on February 26, 2015, published in Register No. 711A1 on March 2, 2015, and approved by the Board of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection as required by s. 227.135(2), Stats., on March 11, 2015.
