Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rules to
Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
The Department of Children and Families submitted proposed rules to the Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse on January 21, 2016.
The statement of scope for this rule, SS 030-14, was approved by the Governor on March 31, 2014; published in Register No. 700A on April 15, 2014; and approved by Secretary Eloise Anderson on July 9, 2014. Analysis
The proposed rules create ch. DCF 12 and affect chs. DCF 50, 51, 55, and 56, relating to the caregiver background check. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held in Madison on February 19, 2016. The organizational unit responsible for the promulgation of the proposed rules is the Office of Legal Counsel.
