Notice of Submittal of Proposed Permanent Rule ch. Trans 319
relating to Towing of Vehicles, to Legislative Council Rule Clearinghouse
Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) hereby submits to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse for review, pursuant to s. 227.15(1), Wis. Stats., the proposed permanent rule ch. Trans 319 relating to towing of vehicles, and the fiscal estimate/economic impact analysis.
The Statement of Scope for this Permanent Rule, SS 064-14, was approved by the Governor on July 1, 2014, published in Wisconsin Administrative Register No. 703A on July 14, 2014.
Please be advised that the public hearing date will be schedule in the near future, for a simultaneous hearing on the emergency rule, EmR 1514, and permanent rule. I will inform you of the date and time as soon as it becomes available.
The enclosed documents are being submitted today to the Legislative Reference Bureau and the Department of Administration, in accordance with s. 227.14(4m), Wis. Stats. This letter with enclosures is WisDOT's notice of submittal of the above-mentioned proposed permanent rule to Legislative Council staff, and to be published in the Administrative Register:

The Statement of Scope for this Permanent Rule, SS 064-14, was approved by the Governor on July 1, 2014, published in Wisconsin Administrative Register No. 703 on July 14, 2014, and approved by Secretary of the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation Mark Gottlieb, P.E., as required by s. 227.135(2), Wis. Stats., on July 28, 2014. A related emergency rule, EmR1514, affecting the same Administrative Code provisions contained in this proposed rule and relating to the same purpose has been published in the Wisconsin State Journal, and took effect on Thursday, April 30, 2015.
Lastly, the attached documents are being submitted today to the Small Business Regulatory Review Board, in accordance with s. 227.14 (2g), Wis. Stats.
