(a) (intro.) If a sick, disabled or injured individual is transported by 7
ambulance, any of
the following combinations of
other individuals shall be present 8
in the ambulance:
1. Any 2 emergency medical technicians, licensed registered nurses, licensed 10
physician assistants or physicians, or any combination thereof; or.
(a) 3. If the ambulance is a fixed-wing airplane and the sick, 2
disabled, or injured individual is a pediatric patient who is being transferred from 3
one hospital to another hospital, one individual specified in subd. 1. plus one 4
respiratory care practitioner certified under subch. II of ch. 448.".
