AB191-ASA1,1,3 1An Act to create 20.445 (1) (ak) and 103.98 of the statutes; relating to: a
2substance abuse treatment program provided by the department of workforce
3development and making an appropriation.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB191-ASA1,1 4Section 1. 20.005 (3) (schedule) of the statutes: at the appropriate place, insert
5the following amounts for the purposes indicated: - See PDF for table PDF
AB191-ASA1,2 6Section 2. 20.445 (1) (ak) of the statutes is created to read:

120.445 (1) (ak) Substance abuse treatment program. Biennially, the amounts
2in the schedule to provide substance abuse treatment under s. 103.98.
AB191-ASA1,3 3Section 3. 103.98 of the statutes is created to read:
AB191-ASA1,2,9 4103.98 Substance abuse treatment program. The department shall create
5and provide a voluntary substance abuse treatment program for individuals who are
6unemployed and who abuse controlled substances. An employer may refer an
7individual who tested positive for the presence of controlled substances in a test that
8was conducted on the individual as preemployment screening to the program created
9by the department under this section.
AB191-ASA1,4 10Section 4. Effective date.
AB191-ASA1,2,1211 (1) This act takes effect on the day after publication, or on the 2nd day after
12publication of the 2015-17 biennial budget act, whichever is later.
