SB379,1,2 1An Act to create 5.51 (9) of the statutes; relating to: requiring a watermark on
2mailed absentee ballots.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill requires that all absentee ballots mailed to eligible voters contain a
watermark that identifies the ballot as an official absentee ballot.

an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB379,1 3Section 1. 5.51 (9) of the statutes is created to read:
SB379,1,54 5.51 (9) All absentee ballots mailed to eligible electors shall contain a
5watermark that identifies the ballot as an official absentee ballot.
