AB776,1,2 1An Act to create 20.9277 of the statutes; relating to: public funding for
2pregnancy counseling organizations.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill requires that, in order to be eligible for public funding, an organization,
whether for profit or nonprofit, providing pregnancy counseling services must
provide counseling on all options available to a pregnant person, including abortion.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB776,1 3Section 1. 20.9277 of the statutes is created to read:
AB776,1,7 420.9277 Pregnancy counseling services. No organization that provides
5pregnancy counseling services, whether for profit or nonprofit, is eligible to receive
6public moneys unless the organization provides counseling on all options available
7to a pregnant person, including abortion.
