1An Act to renumber and amend 101.16 (2); and
to create 101.16 (2) (b) of the
2statutes;
relating to: prohibiting certain rules related to dispensing liquefied
3petroleum gases for vehicle fuel purposes.

This bill prohibits the Department of Safety and Professional Services from
promulgating any rule that does any of the following regarding liquefied petroleum
gases used for vehicle fuel purposes: 1) prohibits self-service dispensing; or 2)
requires completion of training to dispense. Under current law, DSPS must
promulgate rules to establish rules and standards for the design, construction,
location, operation, and maintenance of equipment for storage, handling, use, and
transportation by tank truck or tank trailer of liquefied petroleum gases used for fuel
purposes.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
