396-67, clinching the best league record for the first time since 1982; and

6the fifth time in the franchise's history; and

10one of the lowest budgets in the league due to their spirited and determined play; and

5time in the team's history and received the National League MVP Award during his
6first season with the team, accounting for the franchise's fifth league MVP Award;

SJR14,2,98 Whereas, Jesús Aguilar, Travis Shaw, and Christian Yelich all hit at least 30
9home runs during the 2018 season; and
SJR14,2,1110 Whereas, the pitching staff set a franchise record of 1,428 strikeouts in the 2018
