SB194,1,2 1An Act relating to: funding for joint programming between the University of
2Wisconsin-Green Bay and the Oneida Tribe and making an appropriation.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill provides funding for joint programming between the University of
Wisconsin-Green Bay and the Oneida Tribe.
Under current law, the Department of Administration must provide funding,
from tribal gaming receipts, to finance programming at UW-Green Bay that is
jointly developed with the Oneida Tribe. However, current law appropriates no
money for this purpose.
This bill provides annual funding, from tribal gaming receipts, for this purpose.
For further information see the state fiscal estimate, which will be printed as
an appendix to this bill.
