AB304-AA2,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB304-AA2,1,2 21. Page 2, line 2: delete lines 2 and 3 and substitute:
AB304-AA2,1,5 3“450.01 (16) (L) Prescribing and administering injectable hormonal
4contraceptives and prescribing and dispensing self-administered hormonal
5contraceptives pursuant to s. 450.095 (2m).”.
AB304-AA2,1,6 62. Page 2, line 8: delete lines 8 to 15 and substitute:
AB304-AA2,1,10 7“450.095 (1) (ag) “Injectable hormonal contraceptive” means a drug composed
8of a hormone or a combination of hormones that is approved by the federal food and
9drug administration to prevent pregnancy and that a health care practitioner
10administers to the patient by injection.
AB304-AA2,2,211 (ar) “Self-administered hormonal contraceptive" means a drug composed of a
12hormone or a combination of hormones that is approved by the federal food and drug
13administration to prevent pregnancy and that the patient to whom the drug is

1prescribed may self-administer. “Self-administered hormonal contraceptive”
2includes hormonal contraceptive patches and hormonal contraceptive pills.”.
AB304-AA2,2,6 33. Page 3, line 2: delete the material beginning with “prescribe" and ending
4with “contraceptives" on line 3 and substitute “prescribe and administer injectable
5hormonal contraceptives and may prescribe and dispense self-administered
6hormonal contraceptives”.

8with “contraceptives" on line 8 and substitute “prescribing of injectable hormonal

11with “contraceptive" on line 18 and substitute “prescribing the injectable hormonal

AB304-AA2,2,14 136. Page 3, line 19: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with
14page 4, line 6, and substitute:
AB304-AA2,2,17 15“b. Report to the patient's primary care practitioner upon prescribing and
16dispensing the self-administered hormonal contraceptive or upon prescribing and
17administering the injectable hormonal contraceptive.
AB304-AA2,2,2018 c. Provide the patient with a written record of the self-administered hormonal
19contraceptive prescribed and dispensed or the injectable hormonal contraceptive
20prescribed and administered.
AB304-AA2,2,2321 d. As soon as practicable after the pharmacist issues the prescription order,
22dispense the self-administered hormonal contraceptive to the patient or administer
23the injectable hormonal contraceptive to the patient.

14. The rules promulgated under subd. 1. shall prohibit a pharmacist from
2prescribing and dispensing a self-administered hormonal contraceptive to a patient,
3or from prescribing and administering an injectable hormonal contraceptive to a
4patient, unless all of the following apply:”.
AB304-AA2,3,5 57. Page 4, line 9: delete lines 9 and 10 and substitute:
AB304-AA2,3,7 6“b. The use of the self-administered hormonal contraceptive or injectable
7hormonal contraceptive is not contraindicated based upon the results”.
